Our Commitment to Digital Services Act (DSA) Compliance

The European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), which took full effect in February 2024, establishes new standards for accountability, transparency, and user safety for online services. Whilst Quorum IO Ltd. does not host user-generated content (UGC), we are committed to complying with all applicable DSA obligations to ensure our organisation and platforms remain a trusted space for collaboration and innovation.

We continuously enhance our tools and policies to empower users and uphold the DSA’s goals. Below, we outline the steps we’ve taken to meet these requirements and provide clarity on how you can engage with our compliance processes.

Updates to Our Terms of Service

Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been revised to align with DSA obligations, including:
  • Content Policies: Clear guidelines prohibiting illegal or harmful content, including hate speech, misinformation, and intellectual property violations.
  • Moderation Practices: Procedures for addressing policy-violating content, including removal and user appeals.
  • Transparency: Annual reporting (where applicable) on content moderation actions and responses to legal requests.
  • User Responsibilities: Expectations for lawful and ethical use of our services.
By using our platform, you agree to abide by these updated terms.

Reporting Illegal Content or Policy Violations

If you encounter content or activity on our platform that you believe violates our policies or applicable law, you can report it through our DSA Complaint Mechanism:

  • URL of the content in question.
  • Description of the alleged violation.
  • Supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots).

What Happens Next?
  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours.
  • Reports are investigated promptly, with outcomes communicated transparently.
  • If content is removed, we will notify the affected user(s) and provide appeal options.

Transparency & Accountability

Whilst we are not classified as a "Very Large Online Platform" (VLOP) under the DSA, we voluntarily adhere to its principles of transparency. This includes:

  • Cooperating with the UK and EU regulators during audits or investigations.
  • Regularly reviewing our policies to reflect evolving legal standards.
